I turned 20!Finally kissed my teenage years goodbye. The last year has been the most informative, happiest, hurtful, thoughtful, altering, moulding, powerful, accepting year of my life.I’m thankful for it. The highs, the lows, the blessings, the lessons, the love, the hate, the setbacks, the comebacks, everything.20 may sound so young, but I’ve learnt a couple of life lessons that I hope to apply in future as I blossom into a Godly, gorgeous woman.
*A sermon a day keeps temptation away…or maybe a week. haha
*No beauty shines brighter than that of a good heart. In the end, we won’t remember the most beautiful face and body, but the most beautiful heart and soul.
*Have a beautiful mind, you can never buy that. Beauty or brains? I’ll take them all. Thanks!
*Pray…pray…pray. Pray on it. Pray over it. Pray through it.*Some days are just bad days. That’s all. That’s just the way it is. A good laugh and a long sleep are the two best cures for anything.
*Don’t beat yourself up. You are doing just fine. On the road to success, there’s a curve called failure, a loop called confusion and speed bumps called friends.*Speak only when you feel that your words are better than your silence.
*Your twenties will make you or break you. Nothing will change unless you’re willing to step out of your comfort zone, start where you stand and work with whatever tools you may have at your command.*If I choose you over sleep, you must be very special haha
*It’s okay to set your boundaries. You are not uptight. That’s just who you are.*Meditate..reflect, because some questions can’t be answered by Google.
*Maybe they will choose you…maybe they won’t. But none of it matters.Move on!You are a gem!*When you’re revising and something finally clicks in your head, it’s such a good feeling. Like damn girl, I am intelligent!
*Nobody is too busy, it’s just a matter of priorities.
*Erase the frown and carry yourself like the royalty you are.Cheers to more years filled with love, laughter and success. I hope I can inspire a heart, spark a mind or leave a smile on someone’s face.
